Remember Grass Cutting with Botanical at CIH this Year?

Back in June of this year, representatives from Botanical attended The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) ‘Housing 2015’ Conference & Exhibition, showcasing our skills and services to thousands of housing professionals from a number of sectors. At the event, we invited visitors to enter our unique competition and we are pleased to announce the winner, who received a quality petrol grass lawnmower as his prize.

We created a fun entry form featuring an image of a lawn which visitors had to ‘mow’ by tearing off the filled-in strip. All of the entries were gathered together and one chosen at random - the lucky owner was Mr Dion Woods MCIOB PgDip Law, who is the Chief Executive of Prestwich & Northern Western Housing Association Ltd. Mr Woods can be seen in the photograph, posing proudly with his valuable prize.

The CIH Conference & Exhibition is the biggest chartered institute event of its type in Europe and is aimed specifically at the social housing sector: in excess of 2.5m social homes were represented by the many professional delegates. With an audience of thousands of buyers, specifiers and decision makers in attendance, each of whom is actively involved with bringing housing-related products and services directly to both existing and new-build social housing projects, the event is an ideal platform to showcase our high-quality, reliable and innovative grounds maintenance services.

In addition to the many networking opportunities made available at the CIH Conference & Exhibition, over 50 ‘Best Practice’ seminars were held, with many topics being discussed and debated at length. Key seminars included those with a focus on the changing political and governmental landscape.

We would like to offer sincere congratulations to Mr Woods and trust that he and his business will get many years of useful service from the professional-standard lawnmower. Thanks to everyone who visited our stand at the CIH Conference & Exhibition and entered our competition - commiserations to all but you certainly did a great job of cutting the grass!

As well as grass-cutting and garden care, including tree surgery, we also offer a comprehensive array of grounds maintenance solutions such as landscape improvements, litter/flytipping removal and access to an innovative collection of solar powered equipment. If you missed us at the CIH Conference & Exhibition, give us a call today to find out how we can transform your social housing project.
