School Grounds Maintenance — now with free Christmas Tree!
One of the schools we currently provide out expert maintenance service to is Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School (QEGS), which is a co-educational establishment. The school has a long and rich history dating back to its opening in 1509, when only boys attended - now much larger and comprising classes for pupils from Reception to Sixth Form, the school is mixed and caters to a large catchment area.
Around 600 pupils are registered at the school at any one time, meaning it is a busy and fast-moving environment which needs constant maintenance to ensure safety and hygiene are kept at their proper high levels. Students at QEGS have been described as ‘bright, industrious and confident without appearing complacent or alarmingly sophisticated,’ in the frank words of The Good Schools Guide.
With an impressive record of achievement in both sports and academia, QEGS enjoys a highly-reputed status - almost all pupils achieve at least five GCSE passes, which is the nationally recognised benchmark, while 2011 saw an A-Level pass rate of an unbeatable 100%. The school has received a Gold Award from Sportsmark and its football team have won the Independent Schools Football Association Cup an unrivalled three times.
Good schools need good maintenance and that is what Botanical provide. Paul Waddington, the Operations Manager at QEGS, said: “We have used Botanical for almost ten years and we have always been happy with the exemplary service they offer; they have always been willing to work around the needs of my school rather than the other way round”. He adds that he would have ‘no hesitation’ in recommending our service, which he says is ‘second to none’.
For a limited time, we are offering free hire of one of our superlative Christmas trees to any school that signs a grounds maintenance contract for the 2016/17 season. Want to find out more? Call us today!
